Its normal ..and i would suggest dont give chapati ..u might give the food mixed with curd or buttermilk its good in summers but right now ur puppy is too small give him food mixed with cerelac thats also good...and dont worry the eating way is normal

Ok first of all you should realize he's just a puppy.. you cannot expect a child to walk and play within 6m , can you? It's the same for puppies as well. A 53 days old puppy will only have energy to play for 30min properly in a DAY. So don't raise the bar too high for him right away. At this point you can mix puppy Cerelac along with his starter food and give him.. at this age puppies will only 😴 💤 for 18-20 hours.. he is too small to be active all day. When he's awake use that time to teach him.potty training cuz all they will do is sleep eat wake up and go potty.. slowly lead him to where you want him to go potty inside the house so he learns the place well.. After 2-4 weeks you can even start to teach him basic commands..like sit, stay and go.. do it when it's his feed time.. if he's not getting it the first time it's OK too.. Slowly when he is getting bigger he'll have the energy to play and be awake for longer hours. For now shero needs to conserve his energy so that he can grow properly. So deem him lazy for now.. still lot more to go..🙂

Hi. A 7 week old puppy is very young. On most occasions you will find him sleeping as he needs about 14 to 16 hours of sleep. This will go down as he grows older. By six months he will be sleeping about 10 to 12 hours. Most dogs just gulp the food. Its perfectly natural. Especially the water mixed food that is given to them. The molars are usually used as crushers of bone. Your dog is too young to be given a bone. Same thing for drinking. They have a natural tendencies to finish things fast. So they just go hammer and tongs after the meal or water and May cough to clear the airway. Do not give him chapati yet. Pl feed him pedigree / Royal canine (i prefer RC). The kibble of both brands is good. After he is 10 weeks old, you can start home feeds. He would need 5 feeds presently and you can reduce it by 01 meal every month. Target 2 meals a day by the time he us six months Finally, how long have you had him? If you have got him recently, ask the breeder what was being fed before you got him. 🐈H!!Piyush, All that u should do fir him to stand and eat is just go behind him & lift him a bit when he eats. Not by his stomach lift him by his chest very gentle. Not to hold him tight. If u repeat it for few times he will stand for his food. He must have been practiced eating. Pet shop don't spend much time in all that and most are kept in cage so they must have gone used to sit for the entire 24 hr⏰so it's normal. Let's not call him lazy anymore. Play with him increase the habit for him to stand. At times standard and eating is even an problem for fast Eater like Shero because pups or dogs that eat stooping down so fash with turn to have its windpipe or foodpipe expand which will result in throwing out food. Eating too fast is an issue I get it. I cleared understand why ur bothered. Obviously it creates gut issue & bloating of stomach by pumping in extra air while eating fast. 👉I would suggest you give him the food hot not very hot but still a little extra than a chill food. It will make him eat little by little. ⚠️Causion do not burn his tongue👅off or 👉Give him one teaspoon of food at a time with a gap. u can contact the intake of him 👉Give him water in an shallow plat so there is no chance of gulping. It will make him like Little by little. Don't worry breeds like Labrador,Beagle,Golden Retrieve,GrateDane have the habit of eating fast don't worry. There are pet parent who suffer saying my 🐶 pup is not eating 🤣. He is such a good boy who 🥰 loves to eat.

U can use anti-choking food bowl to stop your dog from gulping coz even adult dogs gulp. Cant stop that
