My dog also like that. When he is awake, he is totally hyperactive and sleeps after that At night, he spends time by starring at my face and sleeping 😅 So, I think it's their nature

My dog is the same. He only gets active between 5 to 8 and sleeps the whole day. Also the summer weather plays an important role as they are more lazy
