Interesting question Muskan. Already answered by Kajal. πŸ™‚ Well, have you tried the tap thing with your hand? I remember how much Gadhu enjoyed drinking water from my palm the first time, since when I was offering his water bowl as his, he refused. 🌻

dogs' wild ancestors relied on natural sources for drinking water, and running water is generally safer and less polluted than stagnant water ..

Yes, indeed..Its the freshest, cleanest water dogs can drink. Dogs, when thirsty, will drink from pools of water, even if it has become stagnant, to survive. They are very active and get thirsty quickly.

Tap water is safe, unless the source is not contaminated.and yes you have to change the water more frequently to avoid formation of algae.

Pet instinct is to avoid stagnant water. Getting a pet fountain, like the kinds Drinkwell makes, often solves the problem, and the water stays cleaner because it is filtered. You do not have to refill these as often as bowls.
