It's oknif you do, but he still is at risk. Once he is 3 months old, you can definitely take him out on short walks nearby your area where you know there are no stranger dogs. For now take him out by car or on a bike, let him socialise with people but not dogs. Also not people who have dogs. Especially at the vet, don't let people touch him.
