I have 4 months old Golden Retriever, we bathe him yesterday with warm water. Is there possibility of him feeling cold considering he is double coat. If yes, how do we come to know that he is cold.

They dont get cold that easily and do puppy zoomies to dry off. Need a lot of control for drying. If cold he will cuddle near you or on bed.

Mine is 9 months I just blowdry him on medium settings. And i use microfiber towel it helps to remove excess water. Also clean his face ,nose and ears with microfiber or soft cloth. I give him bath every month with normal temperature water and he is doing fine. Don't worry.

As long as you dry him properly(using a blow drier if he’s fine with that, otherwise a towel), he won’t feel cold. If he is feeling cold you will see him shivering, so ensure that you dry him properly. Also bathe during the day because the nights can get cold.

Ishaan Thank you, he was dried up properly. But with the way he was sleeping at night it felt like he was cold.
